The CEO of Palantir posted a fascist manifesto on X.
— Gil Durán (@gilduran.com) 2026-04-20T15:10:11.111Z
I pointed out that it was fascistâwhich resulted in a permanent suspension from X (my second time!).
So, when you hear the tweeters complaining that BlueSky is intolerant, remember why many of us came here in the first place.
LBN thread about the manifesto

which links to my earlier GD thread about it, which included Gil's X message.
Gil was far from the only person on X calling it fascist. I don't know if any others were suspended for saying that, but I suspect Musk used it as an excuse because Gil's criticism of the tech and crypto bros has been so effective.

Reach. Lots of Democratic lawmakers and liberal pundits and journalists still use X for the same reason.

I'm sure they use things like this as an excuse to go after important accounts that annoy them

rather than doing it to everyone. My Twitter profile (and it's been there so long that it was Twitter when I wrote it) reads "Elon Musk is a Nazi troll who is politicising Twitter with glee. All use of Twitter should take this into account", but no one's bothered to suspend a nobody like me.
