(2,847 posts)Let's do everything we can to encourage pollsters to start polling for Vance approval versus Trump and questions like "If Trump leaves office before the end of his term, are you happier with Vance or less happy?"
And we can also stir up the shit by educating people about the 22nd Amendment: "No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once."
We should be suggesting that Theil and Vance are planning to push Trump out at the beginning of 2027 if Republicans take a big beating in November. That way, Vance would still be eligible to be elected President twice.
