Evolution OJ

Well talk about the price of food going up, this one hit me in the face today. Have been buying Evolution Fresh Squeezed OJ for a long long time; 59 oz bottle for $10-$11 depending.
Today I noticed the bottle looked different but not so much. Price still the same but holy shit! The bottle although configured to look almost exactly like the one I have always been buying is now a 50 oz bottle for the same price!

They shorted the bottle by 9 ounces and charged the same. This bullshit is getting worse by the day. Watch for this scam on a lot of other products, they think we won't notice it.

Thank you Prez Fuckwit

Not only is it deceptive, but it unnecessarily increases either the amount of plastic & packaging, if container sizes are reduced, or the shipping costs & associated pollution, if the same containers are used but contain less of the product.

Plus consumers end up having to waste more of their own time and energy buying, opening, trashing more containers, replacing toilet rolls, etc. etc.

(I'd also like to see laws prohibiting the use of plastic packaging when paper or something else can be used, taxing plastic packaging for the costs of safely recycling it, requiring that plastic & metal rings used in packaging be minimized or easily broken so they don't strangle growing turtles or the like, and requiring packaging dates on packaged "fresh" produce.)
