The President is Insane and the Senate is Still Invisible

What is it going to take to awaken them?

The man is clearly insane. But worse than that, he is dangerous. He is murderous. He is traitorous.

It doesn't make a damn difference whether he is a Republican, a Democrat, or an Autocratic Dictator? He is a threat to all of us.

Get off the dime! Do something. Say something. Show the people that you are still alive.

I'm certain reservations are being made in hell for each of you.

They are the ones violating their oaths to the Constitution by abdicating their role as a check and balance on the executive and judicial branches.

We do still have some good judges who look to the Constitution and find trump on the wrong side.

They've stopped a lot of bad shit that trump has tried to do. And in what world can they force trump to comply more than they already have considering the circumstances we have? Seems to me that the courts are all we have until/unless we get a majority in the House and Senate. Even then, as we learned in trump's first administration, the things that need to be done don't always get enough votes.

Yeah, yeah, I know how realistic that is. (not at all)

But in a functioning country, that would be the response.

with sycophants who would never invoke the 25th. Sean Duffy? Tulsi Gabbard? Linda McMahon? These are not serious people. They are not at all qualified for the positions that Trump has elevated them to. They are all power and money hungry grifters, and he's given them what they want, with the proviso that they not impeach him.

Democratic members will help. But Republicans have to do it. And the won't. So therefore they are complicit. And should be held responsible.

Republicans in Congress flatlined more than a year ago as they looked the other way and stuck their fingers ears as Donald criminally corrupted and violated the missions defined for every executive agency and impounded funds appropriated by Congress. His crimes have destroyed -- and ended -- uncounted lives here and across the planet. And now he commits war crimes in our name.

If a Republican represents you in the House. If one or more Republicans represent you in the Senate, get together with others to hammer their offices. Lobby your local and state governing bodies to pass resolutions condemning the complicity of the Republicans in Congress who are violating their their oath by refusing exercise their power to END the intolerable abuses. Call on them to redeem their souls by voicing their support for impeachment and removal. It is a moral imperative.

And to those who say is it pointless, I say it is NOT pointless to do the right thing. Make you voice heard and call on others to speak out.

“It’s the action, not the fruit of the action, that’s important. You have to do the right thing. It may not be in your power, may not be in your time, that there’ll be any fruit. But that doesn’t mean you stop doing the right thing. You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result.”
— Mahatma Gandhi
