Trump and Ivanka cheered and booed at premier of "Chicago", tonite at Kennedy Center

Edit: I used this Xit in my original post, and received correction from our gentle DU fam. Found the correct story later on. I'm retaining both because I love seeing Trump booed in public.

The video is from another event, where he and Ivanka were soundly booed

Here is the actual vid from tonite where there are mixed boos and cheers.

What's interesting is that every account of his attendance at this event seems to repeat the same story. It's the official story, so I guess we have to stick with it.

and if they play at Kennedy Center, I wouldn't buy Chicago tickets for the County Fair concert.

That there were some audible boos is remarkable.

I'd bet if he just showed up on any random night when the theater-goers were of their typical make-up, the cheering for IQ47 would have been clearly drowned out by boos.

It looks like Melania is surprised that he's getting any applause at all.

She knows he's getting the sh%#$ beat out of him. The post above that says most people going to the Kennedy Center now are trump supporters would be logical.

The main reason it's being renovated is to cover up the fact that they can barely get anyone to perform with trump's name on the building. So he's spending $250 million to cover that up--but also to spread his horrible taste and gold crap all over the place, defacing the original intent of the Kennedy Center.

It is being litigated, so there's that.

Finally, there is this irony:

snip
“Chicago,” a scathing satire set in the 1920s about how show business and the media make celebrities out of criminals, will run at the Kennedy Center...
snip

One could easily argue that trump wouldn't exist if it weren't for the media making a celebrity out of a criminal.
