House Republicans last week introduced a bill that would require every woman using abortion medication to use “catch kits” when ending their pregnancy. Rep. Mary Miller of Illinois baselessly, boldly and bat-shittedly claimed that America’s water supply “is being severely contaminated” by chemical abortion drugs like mifepristone.

Now, scientists and the FDA have long said this is not happening, but apparently we’ve reached the point where conspiracy theories can afford better lobbyists than science.

The Clean Water For All Life Act would make it illegal to flush abortion or miscarriage remains down a toilet “to protect both human dignity and America’s water systems.”

Rep Miller’s act require women to use “catch kits” when their pregnancy is ending. Oh, you gentlemen don’t know what that is? I didn’t either. But I have since learned that the plan is for your government to force women to actually bag up that tissue and blood - as it leaves their bodies - and bring it back to the doctor as medical waste.
