I guess I missed this, but the purpose of Melania Trump's walking with a robot

was to promote the idea of robots as educators. I know that Rs will do anything to break teachers' unions and privatize schools so they can grift off the government funding. But this is a new one.

I tuned out that spectacle a couple of days ago as I do with almost everything done by MT or her husband. But Randy Weingarten was just on MSNOW and explained that that was the gist of it. And she said that the LAST thing today's school children need is a roboticized teacher. And I agree as a former teacher.

To keep out the influence of empathetic or critical thinking human instructors, robots can be preloaded to provide identical instruction to each learner, no matter what age or locations.

If you want a docile subservient brainwashed population, robot teachers are the way to get there.

Th kids would log into the zoom call and then play games. Or they would put up a wallpaper and walk away. Call the parents, they wouldn’t answer, either at work or somewhere else. The student that wants to learn , deals with a teacher who doesn’t care. A teacher who looks for correct data. Having a bad day? Did not eat breakfast because I’d reasons Teacher doesn’t care.

Would then make sure all the robots are armed. None of those WOKE teachers that will not carry into their classroom. What could go wrong?

Waste of tech on a robotized supple body just so it can staple book reports in a human body fashion? They recently showed a full robot turning packages to barcode that was totally unnecessary since a (rejected) set of mechanical pincers can do the same automated job, ignoring that real world details make too much mechanization extremely expensive and impractical, and, as with AI, leaving a lot of slop to clean up for humans. The Bushes tried to launder and educational company with dumbed down crap, a scheme where they make America pay to cookie cutter more Bush intellectual pygmies.

Our low bar hope is this is only an absurd scheme to siphon off initial investment in the fake junk like buying housing plots on Mars.
