The House GOP Game of Chicken
Midterms are less than seven months away.
And you're an incumbent GOP in the House. You're on vacation, thanks to SOTH Johnson.
You're likely back in the home district, fielding calls from Donors. They *want* to give you their money, but . . . . what if you don't get re-elected or elected because of DJT? Money wasted. But same thing with newbies running in the Primaries: Is it money wasted. Maybe wait a cycle and try again?
Donors' message: DO SOMETHING ! ! ! !
But you can't. If you try something innovative, but goes against DJT, you won't be elected or win the Primary. If you do nothing, you will likely lose.
UNLESS you rely on the WH to fix the Election so that there will be no reliable results to allow a Democrat to warm you seat in The House.
That's really all you have.

OR you gather a coalition of Never-Trumpers, dissatisfied GOP, and just do your own thing. Disagree. Go on Media. And why not? You're gonna lose anyway.
