Democrats cannot cave and fund the government without getting serious ICE reforms

I fear if they do without getting sensible reforms, even more voters will believe "both sides are the same" and sit out the November Mid-terms.

I just hope the Democratic leadership is ready for a long, hard fight on this. They need to message loud and clear on what reforms they want and why they are needed.

1. Why do police have to ID themselves but ICE don't?

And let’s not overlook that ICE doesn’t even follow the law.

They’ve literally murdered people before our eyes.

Even if we extract concessions out of the DHS over ICE, they simply do what they want because they act like Brown Shorted thugs.

We need election reform. We need to ensure that we get fair elections in November 2026 and 2028.

Otherwise we will take another step down the road towards Nazi Germany and the Commujist USSR if we don’t.

as it is, I'm hearing that Thune is going to try to force the SAVE thing through with a funding bill.

I don't want to see one Democratic* vote on that abomination.

*Fetterman being a lost cause at this point.
