are placed in a vessel to give to the family. They can also be buried but very little room taken. Also, the burial ground is in very poor condition. What else is in that coffin? Thank you

(156,390 posts)There are those who suspect that some things are in the coffin.
We don't know what.
I think the suspicions are correct.

Keeps her story earlier in their marriage of being raped by her husband from being repeated by her...silent....forever? Just a hunch.

(20,481 posts)The suggestion that something was amiss with Ivana's death. She was a seventy-something woman with a steep and dangerous staircase. She fell. I just cannot see any value in her family or ex offing her. To all intents, she got on well with him and her kids in later years.
The coffin? Probably full of top secret files to be auctioned off to the highest bidder.

2) Her NDA was due to expire days or weeks after her accident
3) Pedotrump is a known liar, rapist, thief, and felon.

(7,353 posts)I agree theres something fishy about her being buried on the 4th fairway (or wherever it is).
And the tax break is real.
But I think control of the real contents is the real reason. Cant get to it with a search warrant, need an exhumation order
which means family notification which means court fight which means time to relocate the stuff.
It also means access to its contents if he wants it. Because he owns the cemetery, he can dig her up when and as often s he wants. Cant do that if its a real cemetery.
So yeah
Im with you 100%

(53,017 posts)This is the definitions statute for New Jersey cemetery operations:
https://law.justia.com/codes/new-jersey/title-45/section-45-27-2/
"Cemetery" means any land or place used or dedicated for use for burial of human remains, cremation of human remains, or disposition of cremated human remains.
This is an interesting statute:
https://law.justia.com/codes/new-jersey/title-45/section-45-27-6/
45:27-6 Ownership, operation of cemetery, forms authorized.
6. A cemetery established after December 1, 1971 shall be owned or operated only by a governmental entity, a religious corporation or organization or by a cemetery company organized in accordance with this act.
L.2003,c.261,s.6.
According to the AI thing that comes up in Google when you feed in "does Donald Trump own a New Jersey cemetery company," he doesn't currently own a cemetery company, he is planning to start one on the Bedminster property with a 284-plot main section, but the state cemetery board hasn't signed off on it yet. So, the land Ivana is buried on is not currently tax-advantaged.
I wonder what would happen if someone were to slip into Trump's golf course in the middle of the night with a cement truck, dig down a couple feet over her grave and fill the hole with wet concrete...

(26,184 posts)The family has to give permission to exhume and they will most likely never give it so, they could be, whatever they are, gone and well never know. Its like a mob mentality to come up with a plan like that

(138 posts)If their is reasonable, articulated suspicion of a crime, a search warrant will be issued, and it wont matter what the family feels like. Period. Just because its a grave doesnt mean shit.

(6,286 posts)The entire notion that someone in Trump's orbit would chose a coffin to hide incriminating evidence is silly IMO.

(6,693 posts)We have been saying this since she died. I remember the day of the funeral when the pall bearers were carrying that casket into the church that they could hardly carry it, tell me that casket isn't filled with top secret documents and god knows what else.
Also have a lot of questions on her death - she fell down the steps?
Not usually a conspiracy theorist but I have always though this stunk to high heaven. And burying her in the middle of a field i.e. golf course?? This is not right and when he is in jail that coffin needs to be open.

(6,286 posts)a coffin would be a good place to hide "top secret" documents (since they can be so easily exhumed).
And how would they be retrieved later (assuming they were intended to be retrieved or they would have been simply destroyed) without drawing notice (especially being located on a golf course)?

(58,440 posts)cremated and buried next to each other in a their separate plots. You don't need a full size coffin to bury cremains.

(5,112 posts)It's not an impressive enough visual to have the family carrying a little box. It's all about creating the most impressive spectacle for him.
I'm sorry but this kind of speculation makes us look silly. The only reason to bury something with a body (as opposed to deleting or burning files) would be if you plan to retrieve it later.
And if you plan to retrieve something later, there are less suspicious places to hide them that don't require grave robbing in the middle of resort that the public has access to. How is he going to explain away the big hole/dirt pile that suddenly appears one day next to her grave when he could just get a safe deposit box in Switzerland or something?

They certainly had the money to pay for such care. And being a public figure (sort of), she likely had more activity and visitors in her life than the average 70-plus person.
She may have been a stubborn older woman, perhaps, and her children may have memories that are less than favorable of being raised by her.

Most humans in a casket take around six pallbearers.

I wouldn't be surprised if something/someone else isn't also buried there, but I doubt that it's files/documents of any kind.

(28,121 posts)She fell down the steps.
This lady was a world-class skier. No one ever mentions this ironic fact. I for one dont believe that she fell.
In the film Silverado, a young Kevin Costner plays Scott Glenns characters younger brother. Toward the end, the little boy who was rescued following his kidnapping says to Glenns character that (Costner) was dead and he thought that because he fell off his horse. Glenn repeats it and smiles.
The reason he smiles is because the Costner character is a gifted gunfighter and horse rider and Glenn knew that there was no way he would fall off his horse. I feel the same about Ivana.
