Bondi lacks the necessary decorum for the DoJ

Last edited Thu Feb 12, 2026, 08:57 AM - Edit history (3)

I've traveled quite a bit and have lived in different countries. The first thing I learned about a country's culture was decorum.

In the field of medicine, for example, someone at the top of his profession in Germany is "Herr Professor Doctor So and So." In Scotland it's "Mr. So and So." In Japan it's "So and So Sensei" with a deep bow. Posters here can add to the list of other countries' "formal" decorum.

Congressman Jaime Raskin is a constitutional law professor and was a legal advisor for Jesse Jackson's Rainbow Coalition before he worked his way up the political ladder into the House of Representatives.

In any country I can think of outside the US, Raskin's professional background is one that earns him respect, with a title of Representative, Professor, or Dr. Raskin. But according to the US DoJ Pam Bondi, Congressman Raskin is "a washed up loser lawyer, he's not even a lawyer." You can’t buy a baguette in all of France without “Bon jour, Monsieur et Madame,” and I’m having to pay for Bondi’s vulgar mouth?

Attorney General Bondi’s shockingly crude outbursts throughout the hearing are unacceptable most anywhere in the world. Other countries would consider her so pedestrian, she could win Olympic gold playing handball against the side of a curb. She is remarkably displaced in a public position that calls for dignity, respect and decorum, of which she has none. She reflects very badly on the US, as does Donald Trump, her mentor.

I look forward to the day when we get the disrespect--name calling, threats, screaming, interruptions, belittling and bullying --out of our culture, so we can reflect the traditional, if not universal, expectations of the role into which we're placed, as earned through hard work and merit.

What I saw from Bondi today was a miscarriage of her role in Justice. She couldn't even bring herself to address the female victims that she is sworn to protect. I can only assume she was hand-picked by Putin because she is turning the US into a feudal backwater, just as Vlad would wish.

“This is not who we are.” Indeed, nobody is unless it’s spawned from the Trump administration.

2. That behavior is what the DOJ, the federal government, and the United States is now.

There is no better "real" America out there of which Bondi is anomolous. She is a mirror.

We have a lot of work to do. Winning the next election is necessary, to be sure, but insufficient. We need a better society.

Y’know, the thing about Bondi, she’s got lifeless eyes, black eyes, like a doll’s eyes. When she comes after ya, she doesn’t seem to be livin’ until she bites ya, and those black eyes roll over white, and then – aww, then you hear that terrible high-pitch screamin’..."

15. Great post. Watching her lie and deflect in the video clips, I wish somebody would duct tape her mouth shut.

Then she'd be able to nod or shake her head, as needed, and not do all that childish BS.
