Obviously the fascists are "playing" the release
of whatever they choose to release of the Epstein files and on what schedule. They will claim things like "See we told you there was nothing new and now we showed you and you're still complaining." Part of that play was the game plan obviously cooked up by the disgusting Todd Blanche. I don't think Bondi has the brains to lay out a strategy. She has the evil intent but her lack of strategic thinking and legal skills have been amply demonstrated.
I said earlier in a comment just when the release was announced that I would be amazed if there weren't huge redactions. That's part of the Blanche strategy because now there will have to be big fights in court over the redactions with endless requests for more time from Blanche, endless appeals, failure to comply with court schedules/orders and on and on just like always in all of the cases involving Crumb The 1st.
I fully expect that the fascists on the Supreme Court will eventually declare that they "must defer to the judgement of the government as to redactions and that they are doing so in good faith for national security reasons, ongoing investigations etc." Of course we know there are no ongoing investigations, national security reasons etc. but that is always the "out" for crooked courts to protect their crooked owners and friends who have done crooked things.
But really the handwriting was on the wall when Blanche got the current position at DOJ after having been one of the personal lawyers for Crumb The 1st. The conflict of interest was flashing in neon letters 10 miles high. So we see his lies about Maxwell and what he was doing with all of that. Still to this day every single person in the government who has been asked about her "transfer" claims nobody knows anything. So we're supposed to believe it just "happened" all on its' own. That's as laughable as making huge redactions and then claiming it is a release of information.
Yes we must fight the court battles, though they be lengthy, but the disclosure of the improperly redacted material and exposure of those at DOJ and the White House responsible for the coverup could be greatly advanced if some people of integrity at DOJ/FBI would step forward and blow the whistle. If this persists many more days without a whistleblower then the conclusion that there are no people of integrity at DOJ/FBI will be inescapable and inarguable. I for one am sick of hearing about how they "will lay their lives on the line" to defend the country while knowing they won't lay their careers on the line to defend the democracy, the Constitution and ethical American governance.
Their time to lay things on the line is now and if they don't then, despite all else about anything they may have done, they are actors of bravery and sacrifice when it is convenient for them and when they put that shirt or blouse on in the morning they can't cover the yellow streak they displayed when they were needed most. Come forward now or stick your claims about service, honor, sacrifice and bravery up your asses because I'm tired of your bullshit and most people in America don't dig your sunshine bravado.
