Alyssa Milano: An Open Letter to Marjorie Taylor Greene

https://alyssajmilano.substack.com/p/an-open-letter-to-marjorie-taylor?utm_source=substack&utm_campaign=post_embed&utm_medium=email

Congresswoman Greene,

Let’s skip the pleasantries. They were never your thing anyway.

So…you’ve suddenly discovered that Donald Trump, the man you treated like a messiah, is not loyal and that the MAGA movement is not safe, not sane, and certainly not rooted in anything constitutional. And you’re shocked that he’s attacking you, endangering you, calling you a traitor. As if you didn’t know he had it in him. Puh-lease.

Here’s the part you don’t get to skip:

You helped create this monster. You fed it. You protected it. You celebrated it. And now that it’s finally turning on you, you want sympathy? Understanding? A moment of national concern?

No. Absolutely not. NOPE.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

If you want redemption. If you want to step into the light, there is only one door:

Public, unequivocal accountability. Not the performative kind with hair and make-up. Not the “Trump hurt my feelings” kind. Not the victimhood you’ve perfected. Real accountability means going fully public with everything you know, every lie, every scheme, every threat, every abuse of power you witnessed, tolerated, or assisted. If you want redemption, start with the truth. All of it.

Until then, this isn’t a moral awakening. It’s simply the consequences of your own choices arriving right on schedule.

Sincerely,

Alyssa Milano

(probably only for a short time, but still). Her schism with Trump will help us, though, as SOME WILL take her side as they likewise are pissed about Trump and Epstein, failure to address inflation, tariffs, his 180 degree turn on Mamdani, and scores of other issues.

So, Alyssa...Tincture of time will tell what will be in MTG's absence, but if she would only take dozens with her, I'd be far more inclined to turn the page.

Margi, give up your congressional pension. It could be your personal ThankYou to Veterans who spent way more time earning theirs and for those on active duty now suffering from an incredible lack of leadership from the monster you created. Just a thought as Belle Would say.

Greene used her position to enrich herself and get her pension. She is quitting 2 days after her pension is vested. She does not care about who has been hurt by her bullshit over the years and has absolutely no principles whatsoever.

has made millions since she entered congress (mostly insider trading) but she is a grifter like all MAGA and will take every penny. If not she would step down immediately. She also gets much cheaper health insurance. She has no principles so her timing of quitting is suspect and has nothing to do with any actual position. If she has any brains she would take her money and go and retire in some sunny place and enjoy life but I suspect she has much more grift and ambition in her.

Here's a not-too-old example of a low-year pension: Kay Hagan, North Carolina senator who only served 1 six-year term. In 2016 she lost reelection, and was eligible for a pension of about $16,000

I'm not good enough at math to figure out exactly how much, but its not a reason to quit
While NOTHING about her positions has changed I wish she'd stayed on & ragged trump like she used to do Biden. That wouldve been funny to see.

A congresswoman once took the lead,
In boosting a bold MAGA creed.
But the tide turned one day,
When her hero looked away—
And she learned what her backing had bred.

She’d long praised a man as her star,
Claiming loyalty’s what made him jar.
But when arrows she faced,
By his own hand displaced,
She saw how illusions can scar.

She’d nurtured a movement so bright,
Ignoring its cracks in plain sight.
But when chaos drew near,
And the blame shifted here—
She found she was part of the plight.

Now she calls for concern from the crowd,
As the figure she boosted grows loud.
Yet the truth, hard to take,
Is the role she did make
In the storm that’s enveloped her now.

There once was a rep from GA,
Who cheered every wild MAGA play.
But when Trump turned around
And declared her unsound,
She learned monsters don’t always obey.

She’d sworn he was loyal and grand,
The most stable of men in the land.
But with one random post,
He declared her “the most!”—
Which sounds nice… till you learn what he planned.

She helped build a movement quite loud,
One that always drew quite the odd crowd.
But when drama arose
And it snapped at her toes,
She said, “Wait—I didn’t approve this!” (Out loud.)

Now she’s shocked that the chaos she stirred
Has decided to turn on its herd.
But you can’t bake a pie
Made of nonsense and lies
And complain when the outcome’s absurd.

She once called him a genius, a star,
Said his instincts were golden by far.
But the moment he spit
At her—just a bit—
She yelled, “WHO KNEW things could go this bizarre?!”

Splendid response, Ms Milano. Of course MTG wants to be absolved, comforted, praised for her "bravery" in standing up to Trump. Why don't I thrust her sincerity? I by no means wish her ill. I hope she's sincere, has "learned her lesson," and will henceforth stand with and speak out for those girls and women who for far too long were denigrated, ignored, and discounted by the massively power and wealthy people (most frequently, but not always male) who seem to think they rule the world.
Time, I suppose, will tell ...

Of the whole program of right shifting and well beyond MTG. Of dilution all principles so much they are unrecognisable.

Look at how no one cares about the environment since mob mood shifted.

This is how people with no convictions are - vaguely following herd dynamics understanding a word or concept here and there but not much more.

It’s the most blah, generic nightmarish type of thought process.

It’s so..unevolved and endlessly so. Always a follower or more rarely a leader in a herd, but with no concept of who you are solo. A human shouldn’t need a herd to orient themselves.

Proof of life should be enough wrt communing with other humans with technology in between or not.

Thats what these rapid conversions of the Greene types are about. No character. Just a grifter with performative flair.

Wonder if MTG will ever be aware of it, and if so, will it make one iota of difference in the way she handles things from this point?

And just saw this reminder:
