Presidential-paunch-grabbing pol returning home to flaunt the wealth she accumulated in office
...waving it around in front of the 'good, regular, common Americans,' as she named her constituents in hter resignation statement, people in her district and state who her republican party majority has been steadily impoverishing with their politics and policies, as if her successful grifting is their reward for elevating her to that conning class of government 'reformers.'
The improbably, recently reasonable(?) MTG, who's been feuding with the president whose paunch she mimicked groping on a life-sized poster because she was famous and she could, announced her intention today to resign in January, sounding exactly like an abused spouse - literally saying she 'refuses to be a battered wife.'
Greene's intending populist exit from the stage, nonetheless, includes her voicing continued support for a 'new census counting only Americans;' babbling like an idiot about protecting 'unborn babies,' anti-vax and covid protections; and someone 'medically trans-ing minors' like she's still rocking the QAnon microchip she implanted in her own head.
Marge is going home to what she calls her 'good, common Americans,' after she says she's been' cast aside by MAGA in favor of Necons, Big Pharma, Big Tech, Military Industrial Complex, foreign leaders, and the elite donor class (meaning, I guess, that they cut off her maga mad money).
But it's really not them, it's you Marge.
She came into Congress with a campaign agenda so anti-American that her own party initially ignored her as she tried displaying maga messaging outside of her Capitol office. In a very short while, the entire party had adopted her circus act and she became the one of the lead clowns sniveling at the opposition like a rabid rodent.
Was it destiny or was it deliberate that three of the most performative republicans in the House, in the entire party, banded together to publicly rebuke Donald Trump for stonewalling the Epstein files and heralded in an almost solid majority standing up to their cult leader for the first time as Trump pretended to be leading the hunt against himself?
Marjorie Taylor Greene is a typical republican whose been left out in the cold by the utter falseness, and utter unpopularity of the republican agenda; once just a political feint, actualized against their very own party's voters by their demagogue president who is intent on playing out every conservative delusion to it's most destructive consequence like a true believer; something most republicans like Marge were only bullshitting about for their constituents; the good, common people where they live who they convinced were victims of everyone other then their own feckless, grifting selves.

Her performance this year stands out even among active congressional traders, many of whom have also leaned into tech. But Greene’s picks suggest more than luck - they hint at a thesis. She appears to be betting on areas with strong government backing and bipartisan investment interest.

A smart party would take advantage of this curtain-pulling series of votes simultaneously defying the president while bending him to their will, but republicans are already devolving into a panicked dash to embrace whatever interest brought them there, outside of covering Donald Trump's ass, and it's just going to be a disgraceful display of self-interested dissembling to hold onto whatever they can before the coming collapse of their carefully constructed, centralized regime.
Leave it to Marge to just pile all of her garbage out into the public square as she cleans out her congressional office and packs away all of the wealth she's accumulated for her lone self to take home to flaunt in front of the good, regular, common Americans who are steadily collapsing under the economic weight of everything she ushered into Washington; a republican-damaged economy that's now threatening to upend their hapless lives and livelihoods.
People in her district can come out to the public square and take their pick of whatever new messaging she's offering her constituents right now - maybe in the form of some taxpayer-funded missive that invites them to share in this exciting phase of her schizophrenic journey of political self-discovery; complete with a celebration of her newly wealthy self, telling them all how some people, other than the government she and her party have been in charge of and spending all of our money, are actually the ones to blame for them not getting theirs.
