In my opinion, the Democratic Party needs to be the Party of "moral clarity".
It is obvious that Donald Trump can say or do anything and Republicans will try to blame someone else or say that he didn't say what everyone heard him say. They live in a world of moral confusion.
Trump has proved himself to be a stochastic terrorist. He incited people to act in a violent way on January 6, 2021, when a violent mob ransacked our Capitol. He did it early in his first term when one of his supporters drove 600 miles to El Paso so he could kill Mexicans.
He has said many violent things in the last ten years. Even at this moment, a few Democrats in the House and Senate are requiring extra security because of the increased threats against them, caused by the violent remarks made by Donald J Trump.
We can no longer accept his threats and violent language. It must be called out. He does not have a license to threaten the lives of anybody, especially our elected officials or citizens of this country.
He has been cut too much slack by everyone, including the media. He must be criticized severely for his lawless words and actions, at least until he is accountable to the law.

That is the world we have been living in for 10 years. It cannot be acceptable.

Destroying smuggling boats is a wicked circus justified by claim of deterrence and self-defeating in tracking contraband.
Finally, and after all, it IS American demand which the smugglers are servicing.

(76 posts)Any sociopaths are morally confused, they are morally bankrupt, morals will never get in the way of them trying to get what they want, and morals are only used as a tool against others, that's why they don't answer to any morals when questioned ,instead try to present " equivalents" . I do believe the Democrats need to make every effort to point out the massive moral bankruptcy of the other side and how long it has been going on, start with asking elected Republicans on camera , for the record " Is it correct to assume that you have no problems with supporting a president who claims elected officials from the other side of the isle should be executed whom have committed no crime"? "Yes or no do you support that kind of president to lead the Country"? I doubt you could find an elected Republican that would answer the question , also the answer is obviously yes. i.e. morals don't get in the way of goals for the sociopaths.
