That's how he operates. He says something excruciatingly offensive, then doubles down on his next encounter. He's been getting consistently terrible press for these things, and because he doesn't care (as in "I'M IN CHARGE"
he might relish an opportunity to be an even bigger prick in this meeting.
I had the image of couch-humper Vance screeching "DON'T YOU OWN A SUIT? DID YOU EVEN BOTHER TO THANK THE PRESIDENT?"
The deal with Mamdani is yes...of course...he's seen everything we've seen. And I stand by the normal response I've seen to the concept of Trump playing 3D or 4D chess...he's really playing checkers, and eating the pieces as he goes.
But I DO BELIEVE without an ounce of hesitation that Trump's decaying brain is already tossing around potential "zingers" for "the biggest ratings" with his MAGAts.
Vance is going to have to go the other way with Mamdani:
