I stopped at Nordstrom Rack and the guy in line in front of me had on a beige cap with 47 in tiny white letters. When I got to a cashier, he passed by headed out the door only to return because the security sensors were not removed from their purchase. So they came to the register I was at instead of the one they paid at and asked the cashier who was waiting on me to help them. I asked the cashier to please finish waiting on me first. 
And she did. They took their stuff back to the original cashier.
