You know who is coming for our jobs?

#USDemocracy

You know who’s coming for our fucking jobs? All the federal employees that Trump and Musky fired, all the people Amazon is laying off, all the people who will be losing their jobs due to layoffs because of the tariffs; not undocumented immigrants.

People will turn against each other they will be so scared of being unemployed and uninsured. The educated rich will become corrupted as there will be no middle class for a soft landing for them or their kids. They will start to hoard money just like the oligarchs.

1. I see commercials on MSNBC stating how well Amazon treats its employees. Brags that they pay $22/hr.

Meanwhile, we read that they are laying off thousands.

Jobs such as mine, technical writer, are being lost to AI.

7. 2023 Amazon cut 27,000 jobs. 30,000 in 2025. Total US tech cuts are 123,000 of 184,000 globally.

Intel cut 33,900 jobs

Microsoft cut 9,000

Meta cut 11,000 in 2023 with more coming in 2025

Their enabling AI and automation has now cost them their jobs.
Now what. Do they all vote for democracy? or autocracy?

Throw in US Govt cuts (that it officially admits) are 4,108.

Add up the math and it looks like the non-unionized middle class is seriously downsizing.

But no honest jobs report or other economic indicators will be forthcoming.

No, Americans won't turn on each other.

The REAL point of this downsizing without any widespread information on, or recourse for employment is to make people feel isolated. Therefore hopeless.
Cut 2,400 food banks and 40,000,000 SNAP help nationwide could also make unemployed people get desperate.

What I'm afraid of is we'll lose more government workers who will flood the job market allowing employers to pay lower wages to new hires. For younger workers, ages 18 - 25, the alternative might be the military. The military might be enlarge to reduce unemployment in this age group and the problem is with a large military the greater it is for a president to use them for insignificant reasons.
