Tricia Mclaughlin parroting the standard response
If a US citizen is attacked by ICE and said citizen offers resistance, the citizen has been frequently arrested. Ms McLaughlin responds to these incidents by issuing a standard canned statement (paraphrased): ‘This person attacked a federal agent and impeded the agent’s enforcement duties’. Despite injunctions against the Homeland Security to cease using crowd control devices against citizens posing no threat, this is becoming an everyday occurrence. The government’s escalating violence has to stop.
