Reporter: "That was an ad run by a provincial government in Canada." Trump: ": I don't care"

Reporter: That was an ad run by a provincial government in Canada.

Trump: I don’t care

Reporter: Why are you mad at the federal government?

Trump: Because whether it's provincial or Canada itself, they all knew exactly what the ad was. The prime minister knew, everybody knew.

Doug Ford, the Conservative Premier of the Province of Ontario, is not going to ask for permission to run an ad from the Liberal PM of Canada. Nor is Carney going to nix any ad. Not how federalism works.

But Ford usually messes everything up. He was the mini-Trump here, a wannabe, until he saw the political winds of change and anointed himself the anti-Trump - at least as far as tariffs go. Oh and he's corrupt too. Ugh.

Never mind the rest of the speech... was what was played in the commercial exactly what Saint Ronald said during his "free and fair trade" speech accurate?

If so, why would any republican object? Was Ronald Reagan wrong?

That is what the press should be saying to the orange blob.
