(3,910 posts)Doug Ford, the Conservative Premier of the Province of Ontario, is not going to ask for permission to run an ad from the Liberal PM of Canada. Nor is Carney going to nix any ad. Not how federalism works.
But Ford usually messes everything up. He was the mini-Trump here, a wannabe, until he saw the political winds of change and anointed himself the anti-Trump - at least as far as tariffs go. Oh and he's corrupt too. Ugh.

If so, why would any republican object? Was Ronald Reagan wrong?
