“At least one expert now predicting this could trigger greatest hunger catastrophe in the U.S. since the Great Depression.”

📌 The Dept of Agriculture posted a notice on its website saying federal food aid won’t go out on November 1.

Maybe that's also what Trump is hoping for so he can have his goons crack more heads.

You know what they do to smugglers.

Why aren't the grocery conglomerates storming DC?

Have they been promised a bailout?

one else has either. I hear and listen to the news, and have gone to my states website and found a notice with the information.
My guess is that millions of SNAP recipients don't really follow the news and have no idea about what's going to happen to them.
It's going to be a horrible month 😫

Not true, but 45 to 50% of people who vote will either believe it, or just say who cares.

while his superfans pretend it makes him look stronger as they request their daily chocolate rations. Those least able to respond in any meaningful sense will feel the greatest pain... it's the trump way.

They really don't see anyone non-white as human.

Thus, it's not a sin or a crime to harm or kill them...
and they can still be, in their demented minds,
holier than thou "Christians."

I think I said this before, but....

" And I heard what sounded like a voice from among the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine.”…"

Today, it would probably be modernized as this:

"A whole day's wages will normally buy you a loaf of bread. But people will stretch out their money and buy a sack of potatoes. Those who can afford it will still have their aged whiskey and caviar!"

A tale literally as old as the alphabet. Just the luxuries have changed.
