(1,060 posts)We're an absurdly wealthy country and have so many billionaires and spend way more on corporate subsidies than we do on SNAP. But sadly this guy doesn't mean that. We shouldn't be subsidizing companies that have employees on public assistance while paying crappy wages while executives make off with so much in stock options.

(5,292 posts)His victory was only big within the Electoral College, he didn't get half of the votes counted. And that percent was likely boosted by all the bomb threats against only blue voting precincts on election day 2024.

We wont have answers for at least a generation, maybe more, as the matter is studied by PhDs, grads, post grads, and historians.

Sooner or later some PhD will say, the truth is Democrats lost in 2024, despite all the CT to rationalize the devastating loss, they better get their act together.
