Military members on SNAP

So their food and pay will both get cut off.

I'm sure that will be a huge morale booster.

Did you know that over 1.3M active duty service members and veterans rely on SNAP benefits to feed themselves and their families?

Now you know.

5. That's because E-3 and below are not supposed to have dependents.

They are assumed to be single when they enlist. They can't apply for off-base housing or dependent's supplemental until they're E-4 or out of initial training status, but at least they can sign them up for TriCare immediately and VA benefits (Education grants) after 120 days

2. There are 1.3 million active duty members total, it is believed that on the high side 275,000

of those members are on SNAP which is still too high but certainly not 1.3 million. Then there is Veterans on SNAP, not sure but somewhere between 5-10%. It is bad but let's not exaggerate the numbers.

Approximately 1.2 million veterans and about 125,000 active-duty service members and their families experience food insecurity, with only around 2% of active-duty personnel qualifying for SNAP benefits. Many military families struggle to meet their basic needs despite the challenges they face.

Maybe we should refer to it as the Bowel Room. The whole idea of it smells like shit.

that the dinners at the white house will cost 1-5k per plate just like in Mar-a-gago. Payable of course, .....to his PERSONAL PAC..........

Mar-a-gago seats maybe a hundred and Trump has to pay for the food, etc, and all staff. He is happier than a pig in shit, because dinners at the White House are completely at the expense of the U.S. Taxpayers. Maintenance, cleaning, Food, staff, everything....with seating up to 900-1000 guests per event................Invitation only, with donations to his PERSONAL PAC............The top 1%, and corporations will flock to have dinner at the White House, with the President and all his cronies....(CABAL)

12. The 1.3 million are mostly veterans

Per USDA, those veterans numbered 1.17 million in 2019.

And most of the rest are reservists and MG members, estimated at about 213 thousand.

In 2019, it was estimated that only about 22000 active-duty members were receiving SNAP benefiits.
