Dems Should Be HAMMERING This Point

Fun Fact - Crooked Donald has pardoned and freed more violent criminals than ANY previous president in modern history. Some of them have gone on to commit further crimes since their release. Even before he freed 1500 violent Jan 6th rioters, during his first term, he freed four mass murderers, convicted of first-degree murder in the killing of 14 people in the Nisour Square massacre.

This point should be hammered by every Dem who goes on television, to remind the American people that the Republicans are now a PRO-crime party, led by a convicted felon. This is the most corrupt government the US has seen in our lifetimes. The President is openly accepting bribes via cryptocurrency.

I know what you say is true, but it would be handy to be backed up with a quick reference to the entire list, with credible sources.

I bet there's quite a few missing, at least from the second-term page. Not seeing a lot of recent edits.

The good news is I'm not seeing a lot of vandalism attempts either. I guess this is why RWNJs are trying so hard to take down Wikipedia - they've learned it is usually mostly futile to fight against the facts being revealed there.

Yes, we should keep hammering that point. It is no secret, it just needs constant reinforcement.

The republican party used to call itself the law and order party, the patriotic party, the pro military party, and the family values party. Now they can't claim much of anything other than the pro Trump party, AKA pro corruption party.

You can't hammer anything if the homeowners, the citizens, won't let you near the house. We have to win elections. And we need to get our messaging focused, decisive, common sense, and forceful.

Pardoned Jan. 6 rioter charged with threatening Rep. Jeffries

Jan. 6 rioter who wore 'Camp Auschwitz' hoodie arrested on animal attack charges
https://abcnews.go.com/US/jan-6-rioter-wore-camp-auschwitz-hoodie-arrested/story?id=125302629

At least 10 pardoned insurrectionists face other criminal charges:
Andrew Taake: According to the FBI, Taake assaulted Capitol Police officers with pepper spray and a metal whip. He was sentenced to over six years in prison for his role in the insurrection. After Trump’s pardon, he was rearrested on previous charges of soliciting a minor.
Edward Kelley: Kelley was one of the first insurrectionists to breach the Capitol and was found guilty on several charges related to January 6th. He was convicted on charges of plotting to murder the FBI agents who investigated him in the January 6th case and is scheduled to be sentenced in July.
Emily Hernandez: Hernandez pleaded guilty to entering and remaining in a building and restricted grounds. After Trump’s pardon, she was sentenced to 10 years in prison for causing a drunk driving accident in 2022 that killed one person and injured another.
Daniel Ball: According to prosecutors, Ball attacked police officers with an explosive device during the insurrection. He was rearrested days after Trump’s pardon for illegal gun possession given his felony record of domestic violence and strangulation.
David Daniel: According to prosecutors, Daniel was part of the attempt to break through a barricaded Senate door and pleaded guilty to resisting police officers. He remains in custody after Trump’s pardon on possession of child sexual abuse material charges brought in 2024.
Shane Jason Woods: Woods pleaded guilty to assaulting police and a press photographer. After Trump’s pardon, Woods was convicted in April for multiple counts including reckless homicide and driving under the influence in 2022.
Theodore Middendorf: Middendorf pleaded guilty to destruction of government property on January 6th. He was previously sentenced in 2024 to 19 years in prison for sexually assaulting a seven year old and remains in prison.
Taylor Taranto: Taranto was convicted of several crimes related to January 6th including possession of an unregistered firearm. He was arrested in 2023 for illegal gun possession and making a threat to blow up the National Institute of Standards and Technology and was convicted this May.
Brent John Holdridge: Holdridge pleaded guilty to parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building on January 6th. He was arrested in May for stealing tens of thousands of dollars worth of industrial copper wire and faces charges of burglary, grand theft and possession of stolen property.
Zachary Alam: Alam was sentenced to eight years in prison for his role in the insurrection. After Trump’s pardon, Alam was rearrested in May for an alleged home invasion and theft.

Sun Oct 26, 2025, 07:20 PM

There once was a man with a crown,
Whose pardons spread chaos around.
He freed killers galore,
And still wanted more—
Then claimed he was law and renown!

At Nisour, four men spilled blood overseas,
And Trump set them loose with such ease.
Fourteen lives were erased—
Yet he smiled, unembarrassed, unfazed,
As if mercy were his to appease.

The mob that had battered and screamed,
Were granted the freedom they dreamed.
Their crimes, he’d defend,
As “patriots, my friend,”
While justice lay broken and beamed.

The GOP’s new paradigm,
Is “loyalty first”—not “no crime.”
With felons in charge,
They’re taking it large,
And calling corruption sublime.

Now bribes come in crypto and stealth,
Disguised as the people’s new wealth.
But the ledger won’t lie,
And the numbers reply:
“Your President’s robbing by stealth.”

So Dems, when you speak on the air,
Remind them of all he laid bare—
From murder to bribe,
It’s the same sordid tribe,
That sells out the law on a dare.

I agree 100%.

Pardoning those violent Jan. 6 thugs was an abomination, and the Republican Party IS now a "Pro-crime party, led by a convicted felon."

Granted, not everyone who was pardoned for January 6 offenses had committed violence. But I was stunned by how quickly I read this after the pardons and commutations were issued:

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cvgp9jgp7m0o

An Indiana man who was pardoned by US President Donald Trump over the US Capitol riot was killed by police during a traffic stop days later.

Matthew Huttle, 42, was shot and killed on Sunday when police pulled his vehicle over, and he allegedly resisted and ended up in an "altercation" with an officer, an Indiana State Police (ISP) statement said.

It remains unclear what he was being arrested for. Police added that Huttle had a firearm in his possession during the traffic stop.
