Trump Cult members think he’s ‘funny,’ they adore him because he’s not like any other politician, they respect that he says what’s on his mind, no matter how idiotic, wrong, or dangerous.
As to the OP – agree somewhat, in that the likes of Trump is the consequence of the voters’ ignorance, fear, and stupidity, where it could indeed happen again.
