That isn't "normal" for an abandoned Wendy's store, much less the White House.

And I fully expect polling on the demolition looks a whole hell of a lot worse by early next week.
But I bet they count it worth it to distract from Epstein looming large again with the release of Virginia Giuffre's posthumous memoir on 10/21. I think it is pretty clear that's what drove the timing (demolition started the 20th) as I speculated here:
