Millions of Social Security recipients will see a 2.8 percent cost-of-living increase in their monthly checks next year, the Washington Post reports.

And my supplement is going up 16%. Haven't seen what's happening to my drug plan.

The increase in SS won't cover the increase in Medicare costs for most people.

all your deductibles and co-pays are going to rise significantly. For instance, hospital during the first 5 days deductible from $385 to $450, ER visits from $100 to $150, etc.

So let's say your Social Security is now $2,000 per month. Add 2.8% ($56) then subtract the Medicare payment increase of $21.50 (11.6% increase) and you are ahead by a whopping $34.50! Whoopee!!
