The East Wing of the White House, first constructed in 1902. 123 years of American history, bulldozed by a madman.

It's more of Trump's "fuck you for electing Biden in 2020" revenge tour.

He's got his Crypto scam, we still pay for his playtime, he has a spiffy new Qatari jet that we will pay to refurbish, he flattened Jackie Kennedy's Rose Garden, completed in 1962, is now the Mar-a-Lago patio, 63 years later.

I don't understand how he has the legal right to systematically and methodically destroy the White House.

I don't understand how this is being accepted, and not viewed as an act of domestic terrorism.

Even the understated majesty of the White House.

GAO?

How about We the People?!

If I were near DC, I'm afraid I would be on-site daily. So much to protest!

of historical landmarks.

But Trump fired them all.

And the courts and congress are worthless.

Yes just as well we do not live near DC.
We would be permanent fixtures on the WH lawn with our signs.

and the USAID office. And then later in front of the USIP, CFPB, etc, etc, etc...

And then I would camp myself out in front of SCOTUS in recent weeks.

I have but one sanity to give for my country.

Ben Meiselas delivers an important message to those who have standing to sue over Trump's ballroom: So let me just send this message to anybody who has the standing to sue—to the law firms that are out there, to the state attorney generals: go and seek an injunction to block this construction.

The argument that you should make is that Donald Trump engaged in fraud in saying that he alone was going to pay for it, and that it wasn’t going to impact in any way the existing structure. The emergency basis for your injunction is the photograph that we showed—that they just damaged the actual White House and are destroying the East Wing, which is a violation.

Get a court to enjoin or block further construction until such time as there’s discovery in a transparent way. Who is funding this thing? Make the order, demand discovery, and then address the issues of the illegality—that it is a violation of Article I of the Constitution. That’s the argument you need to make. Go and make it.

Do what I just said, and do it because it’s the patriotic thing to do, and it’s the right thing to do, because laws are being violated right now by Trump as a result of this destruction of the White House.

For anything and everything that bugs him or upsets his fragile ego. He can literally tear the White House apart in front of everybody and all but dare us to do anything about it.

I don’t understand why Congress has no say so over this project. Who says we need a ball room that will be twice as big as the White House? Why does the Orange Mussolini get to decide about this project with zero input from anyone? Evidently, he decided what he wanted and ordered it to be done ASAP. Can no one stop him? Guess we’ll find out.
