Way to Go, Ohio! Columbus 'No Kings' protest against Trump draws estimated 10,000 to Ohio Statehouse

Thousands of people spread out on the lawn of the Ohio Statehouse, accompanied by a soundtrack of chants, cheers and a continuous cacophony of car horns honking.

"OH-IO, Donald Trump has got to go," people shouted, waving signs that showed crowns with red X's over them and the words "no kings," among others.

(snip)

At the Statehouse, signs were scrawled with a variety of messages, including ones proclaiming that America has said "no kings" since 1776; "imagine hating immigrants more than pedophiles;" "don't obey;" "crush ICE;" "nobody is coming to save us;" "one nation under duress;" and "the power of the people is stronger than the people in power."

People waved American flags, LGBTQ flags and more and draped them over their shoulders.

Presenters also led the crowd in song, including "Do You Hear the People Sing" from "Les Miserables."

House- 65 to 34 Republican majority. Senate- 24-9 Republican majority. How freaking pathetic is that? Last year I

called the Franklin County Democratic Headquarters during election season-no one answered the phone.
