SYDNEY — Far-right U.S. influencer Candace Owens has lost her bid to enter Australia after the country’s highest court on Wednesday backed the government’s decision to deny her a visa over concerns she could “incite discord” in the community.

Owens, who has built a large online following for her controversial conservative views, applied for a visa to undertake a speaking tour in November 2024.

Her application was rejected in October 2024 by Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke, citing her record of downplaying the Holocaust and Islamophobic comments. Burke has powers to deny non-citizens entry based on character requirements under the Migration Act.

Owens appealed to the High Court on the grounds that the power burdened the freedom of political communication, an implied right. Unlike the U.S., Australia does not have an express constitutional right to free speech.

The High Court on Wednesday sided with Burke and ordered Owens to pay the government’s legal costs.

She called Trump a “chronic disappointment” for betraying his America First policy by bombing Iran and befriending Netanyahu.

She has her own podcast which just continues to grow -gaining in popularity among Republicans & Independents. Her numbers of followers have risen to 7 million on X plus millions on other sites. She was Charlie Kirk’s bestie and she is now obsessively covering Kirk’s murder the same way she covered Macron’’s wife.

Tucker has the largest Tepublican audience and Candace some believe the second largest following. Her followers are described as non Fox watching Republicans.

Lots of Republicans breaking with Trump’s policies in the Middle East - MTG, Tucker, Candace, Matt Gaetz, Massie, Rand Paul, plus many Independent journalists.

It’s good to see a break in the Republican Party- many calling out genocide . Unfortunately, although they disagree with Trump on war - many still agree with his domestic policies.

Followers in X doesn’t really mean much other than they see your posts. I follow people on X and see their posts and scroll on.

Nick Fuentes challenged Trump mainly to get attention and test the Groypers’ loyalty. Kirk’s killer was a Groyper showing his loyalty.

Not counting other podcast sites like Spotify & Apple.

In this climate, most no one trusts Kash Patel after he said nothing to look at with Epstein. So she is filling a huge void for every conspiracy theorist in the world with tips about Kirk coming in from around the world. It’s like a monster takeoff of “Websluths”

The world’s confidence in Kash Patel is zero after promising he would release all Epstein info and saying the deep state was suppressing names - he really upset the Republicans so the Republicans are looking to Candace.
