One of the principal things wrong with the US that has allowed this is Rupert Murdoch's propaganda machine Fox "News".

A second thing that is wrong is the existence of an environment that allows billionaires and millionaires to affect elections as Elon Musk seems to have done in the last election.

A third thing that is wrong (but one that is far from the least of these, for it would have prevented the election of Trump) is Merrick Garland's pitiful lack of any degree of fortitude in pursuing a case against Trump for his January 6th Insurrection against this country. Never has a more worthless Attorney General been appointed by a responsible administration.

A fourth thing that is wrong is the facile submission that is manifesting itself in the US Congress. The MAGA GOP has forgotten completely about the rule of law and the separation of powers and looks only to serve Trump's wishes.

A fifth thing is the US Supreme Court and its majority collection of pliable RW members who have completely forgotten fealty to the US Constitution and to the idea of "stare decisis" to the extent that lapse will either serve the creation of their own private, religious dreamworlds or keep Donald Trump installed as their avatar in the executive branch.

Of course, there is more that has allowed this situation in which the US finds itself to have occurred, but that would be a much longer essay, and it is more important to focus on the message of that YouTube channel's video
