Seth Moulton - running for Senate & giving back AIPAC money

Seth Moulton to seek Massachusetts Senate seat held by Ed Markey in generational fight. (He’s ahead in polls)

Politico - “Rep. Seth Moulton will challenge Sen. Ed Markey for his Senate seat in 2026, setting up one of the biggest tests of Democratic voters’ appetite for generational change following the 2024 presidential election.
Moulton, who turns 47 this month, is putting age at the center of his announcement, saying in a campaign video to be released Wednesday that Markey is “a good man” but he should nevertheless move on after decades in Congress.
“We’re in crisis, and with everything we learned last election, I just don’t believe Senator Markey should be running for another six-year term at 80 years old,” he said in the video announcement. “Even more, I don’t think someone who’s been in Congress for a half century is the right person to meet this moment and win the future.” https://www.politico.com/news/2025/10/15/seth-moulton-ed-markey-senate-00608034

Seth Moulton - “ I am returning AIPAC donations and refusing to accept any donations or support from them.

The FEC filing I made yesterday reflects that we are returning donations.”

A recent poll of 750 Mass voters by Fiscal Alliance Foundation found:

All Likely voters - 43% Moulton
21% Markey
36% undecided

Dem voters - 38% Moulton, 30% Markey - rest undecided.

Not taking AIPAC money is going to enable him to go out and speak with young Dems without being harassed over AIPAC and young voters are more likely to vote for a younger candidate esp one who is really into universal healthcare.

People are waiting to see if Ayanna Pressley joins this race.

Regardless of his polling.

I'm always going to support another Black woman. White folks support white folks all the time.

It's fair. We are the ONLY ones who will have each other's backs. And Pressley is sensational! True liberal bona fides.
