This message bears repetition. The rich are the ones making your life suck much harder than it needs to.
Conversely nearly zero important problems are actually caused by "immigrants", nor "the WOKE/DEI agenda", nor the people calling for common sense gun safety regulations, and certainly not "the administrative state". This sprawling system (set up in the pastimes by those far wiser than Trump ever could, or would, be) that silently and heroically works to make American's lives better, safer, longer, and helps them grow wealth.
In fact the VALUE of government services overall positively dwarfs their costs, but way too many people take all that they do for us for granted. They apparently crave to live in a world where corporations and monetary monarchs will decide what's "best for us" unencumbered by any pesky 'elections' or "workers safety regs" or "laws that say you HAVE to pay someone, just because they WORKED for you". I could go on and on here because the list of their planned fuckery is longer than my arm.
Let me stop to mention here, whenever there's a problem or need that's never going to be profitable, like say what the FDIC does, or treating those severely wounded (physically or psychically) by war, or offering flood insurance which is basically impossible to do profitably? Well, shit, then the libertarian types are ALL ABOUT socializing THOSE costs! Get the government to hold THAT bag! And if they succeed in effectively grabbing more power than any government (or group thereof) can bring to bear, they can socialize ANYTHING in their favor.
IMHO, the world's uber-rich are engaged in a brazen scheme to entirely usurp the Power of The People in every country they can. Our constitutional, democratically-elected governments are the only entities endowed with the power to enforce our collective sovereignty. And the globalist billionaires find that notion inconvenient. That's why they spend billions worldwide to spread their propaganda decrying governments and elections and the UN and the Hague and NATO and any entity that had/has more power than them. They want to be Kings of the World.
Their mission is simple at it's core: corrupt and disempower ALL GOVERNMENTS. Neuter them, so the global titans of industry can rape and pillage at will, unencumbered by any principles or morals apart from their fiduciary obligation to turn as much profit as possible. And Trump is an easy mark for this cabal. That's why they paid to get him elected, and line up to keep giving him 100's of millions more.
Before they can do all that though, they must first DIVIDE US from each other. Create scapegoats. Manipulate and gaslight. Strike fear into us by making the government seem like a dangerous adversary, with armed masked goons in the streets kidnapping people at will. And we see EXACTLY all this happening in real time. Trump is making the government seem evil to everybody.
It's up to US to say NO! See you all on Saturday, in the streets, stay safe and raise your voices LOUD AND PROUD my DU brothers and sisters (and all who prefer not to say)!!!

(76,506 posts)Immigrants were a big target as well as equal rights for women, POC, LGBT.
This serves to divide the people and then the rich fascists can swoop in and take over.
Who benefits and how by global democracies being destroyed?
Excellently said, IMHO.

(66,241 posts)Literally every problem facing humanity as a whole, and a great many problems facing individuals, are caused, exacerbated, or perpetuated by a very small number of very wealthy parasites.
If you say such a thing in an open forum, you'll be attacked by housebroken peons who can't wait to defend their billionaire owners.
But it's true and obviously true.

(12,996 posts)They have been wildly successful using social issues ( race, gender, ethnicity, etc) to focus on so people dont notice the steep decline in Americans quality of life.
Its the More disease and those at the top could have it all and they would still do everything they could to take more.
This is a pathology and its literally killing our country.

(12,166 posts)Love your use of "monetary monarchs". So, true. Every last word you wrote is just plain truth.
And the filthy-rich are addicts. Just like an addict we let wander around in our streets without a place to live while everywhere there are empty buildings and homes. These wealth addicts caused this severe unbalance. They are no better than the prisoners they gleefully lock away in droves. They are the problem.
Glad to see this written out so plainly.
