"Fierce Israeli airstrikes target south Lebanon"

This is the headline from an article from the Lebanese news site Naharnet from 10/16/25. These strikes are regular occurences despite a supposed "ceasefire" being in place. The attacks including destruction of bulldozers etc. and the Lebanese leadership is quoted in the article:

"President Joseph Aoun insisted Israel's strikes targeted "civilian facilities," condemning what he said was a breach of a ceasefire negotiated last year.

"The repeated Israeli aggression comes as part of a systematic policy aimed at destroying productive infrastructure, hindering economic recovery, and undermining national stability under false security pretexts," Aoun said.

The IDF also bombed an environmental group claiming they are supporters of Hezbollah. Sounds like a Venezuelan drug boats sort of maneuver. Make the claim and then bombs away. But it goes to show how a "ceasefire" with the rabid right government in Israel is never really a ceasefire. It's just a lower level of bombing and killing. The attacks are continuing in Syria as well.
