Donald Trump's 'Gross' Remark About Karoline Leavitt Is Condemned Online

Donald Trump had critics reaching for the barf bags with his latest praise of White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.

The president asked reporters returning from the Middle East with him on board Air Force One on Monday how they thought Leavitt was performing in her role. “How’s Karoline doing? She doing good? Should Karoline be replaced?” Trump asked.

Then, he added: “That face and those lips, they move like a machine gun, right?”

Trump made a similar comment in August while calling Leavitt “a star.”

“It’s that face. It’s that brain. It’s those lips, the way they move. They move like she’s a machine gun,” he said, hailing her as a “great person” and “amazing.”. And people this time around responded just like then, with many calling the comment “gross.”

"Spitting bullets" is an idiomatic expression that typically refers to someone who is extremely angry or upset. It conveys a sense of intense emotion, often implying that the person is ready to lash out or react aggressively.

Anger: The phrase suggests that the person is so furious that they could metaphorically "shoot" bullets, indicating a readiness to confront or attack verbally or physically.

She certainly does seem annoyed and angry most of the time.

but I think he means it like her words are bullets inflicting damage on his foes.

But it's a very freaking weird way of trying to say it. Dude is definitely not all there.
