Why Republicans are responsible for government shutdown?

They won the election.

They are in charge of the House, Senate, White House, and even the Supreme Court. The Democrats are the minority in all branches of government.

The Republicans, the majority, are responsible to see that the government runs smoothly and that we are not attacked by any enemies, foreign or domestic. That comes with winning elections.

Rather than find a way to compromise on healthcare, they chose to shut down the government, with the full belief that they could win any propaganda blame game.

But they chose to play another game - my way or the highway. They refuse to compromise on anything. They chose to let the American people suffer from the cuts, if they could not get their way.

Unfortunately, with the responsibility of running the country, comes the possibility that sometimes you might have to compromise to keep the government functioning.

Trump and the Republicans want to stomp the faces of the Democrats and anyone that disagrees with them.

That's the way I see it.
