https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tomorrow/our-long-national-nightmare-by-tom-tomorrow/description?category_id=249&ref=discovery_category&total_hits=32911
Campaign/funding period ends Thu, October 30 2025 1:01 PM CDT.
Estimated Delivery for most rewards - January 2026
This 288-page, full-color softcover book collects This Modern World from April 1, 2020, to October 13, 2025.
The collection is available as an ebook and in a print edition. You can purchase the ebook and print book separately, or in a discounted bundle.
The ebook contains more cartoons than in the print edition, all the way through those published up to our ebook production date, planned for January 2026.
Sadly, due to the complexities and current high cost of global shipping, the physical book ships only to addresses within the United States and Canada. The estimated shipping price is $6 to $8 to the U.S. and US$20 to $25 to Canada for the basic tiers, which will be finalized when the campaign is complete. Shipping is slightly higher for the signature tier due to additional handling.
Please note that shipping costs, VAT/GST, and state taxes are NOT included in the initial Kickstarter pledge. This campaign uses Kickstarter's pledge manager for the final stage: After the campaign finishes, youll receive an email to provide your shipping address, pay the final shipping cost weve calculated, and pay any tax due. For physical rewards, that is sales tax in any U.S. state that levies it and to any Canadian address. For digital rewards, you may need to pay U.S. state sales tax, Canadian GST/HST, United Kingdom VAT, or European Union VAT.

(5,660 posts)7. It's Felix
his cat:
New pet cat offers comfort for cartoonist Tom Tomorrow during coronavirus pandemic
Perkins now has a fellow traveler on that endless journey over the barren expanse.
Enter Felix the cat.
A political satirist and humorist with a finely tuned sense of the absurd, Perkins decided it was time for some furry companionship during his life in quarantine, and his new roommate on the Upper West Side of Manhattan has been spreading feline good cheer and mischievous antics for the past two weeks.
Hes black and white, a tuxedo in the parlance of cat lovers. His new name seemed obvious.
It had to be Felix, given the coloration and my profession, said Perkins, referring to the Felix the Cat cartoon series that dates to the silent-film era. Perkins adopted the cat from an informal rescue organization operating in New York.
