I just don't care for Tina Fey at all. Nothing against her as a human being, just as a "comedic figure," nothing against people who like her. I'm just not one of them. SHe has a vibe, an aura, that just rubs me the wrong way every time I see her. Not my cup of tea. A little too smug and self-satisfied for me.I think that Noem is so despicable that there's no "humor" for me in her malevolence. From making the beast with two backs with Lewandowski, to Cricket and the goat in the gravel pit, to her endless grifting and cruelty and Trump ass-kissing, I think that finding "humor" in her is far beyond any comedic skills one might believe Tina Fey possesses. Just my opinion. Enjoy, if you will:

After refusing to tell the truth during her swearing-in, the Trump appointee was asked whether her boss directed her to prosecute his political opponents, as a mistakenly public Truth Social post by the president intended for Bondi makes clear.
Before I dont answer, I would like to insult you personally: Senator Blumenthal, look at this honky. Even people in Connecticut go, Damn, that guy is white as hell,' she said to the lawmaker (Mikey Day.) That is just one of the many roast-style burns I have here on this paper. Dont make me use them.
When questioned about whether the FBI found photos of Trump with half-naked young women when they raided sex offender and former Trump pal Jeffrey Epsteins property, she replied: Sir, Im not even going to dignify that question with a lie.
Poehlers character added later: I tried reading the Epstein files but I got really bored. Its so repetitive. Trump this, Trump that. Yawn!

(9,654 posts)She actually seems like one of the more genuinely nice people in show business. She comes off as a regular person who made it big but still has the humility from back before she made it.
Love me some Tina Fey!

(9,308 posts)Her portrayal of Valentina Allegra De Fontaine in the move 'Thunderbolts' was great. She was basically taking shots at Noem.

(51,113 posts)I have to say I found it hard to find any humor in this cold open. Not even a chuckle.

(20,494 posts)I'm with you 100% on this. That's the rationale behind the post. No, I'm not a Fey fan, but I don't think ANYONE could "find humor" in that abomination's life.

(51,113 posts)But not in this sketch. I wouldn't like anyone in such a sketch. Right in the middle of this nightmare, it is hard to find much humor in any of it. There's a reason why "Hitler jokes" tend to bomb.
