Yep they sure have. And they won the last World War.

Antifa is the source of all evil in the world. They are going to go after the money that supports the organization. Trump says he may have had dinner with some that have supported them. Antifa is embedded with the homeless. Antifa infiltrated the J6ers. Antifa are insurrectionists. They are as bad as Hamas, Hezbollah, MS13, Tren de Aragua. The police, the politicians and the media are covering up what is going on. 10 "journalists" on Trump roundtable just said they have infiltrated the organization and they have the proof that they are highly organized and hell bent on destroying the US.

So get ready. They are coming.

Really?

Trump & Co. believe that Portland is under siege by German commies?

That is an interesting proposition!

On edit: The Antifa co-founder's girlfriend that Kristi Noem's crew arrested must be really, really old.

You will quickly tell me I'm wrong... and BL will say something mean to me...

But Antifa, AKA Antifaschistische Aktion in 2025 is most similar to Neo-Nazis and historical Nazis.

You see... both are modern day movements deriving inspiration and using symbols of past organizations.

Modern day ANTIFA didn't received marching orders from Russia or the German Communist Party (KPD) but they carry the same flag and chant the same slogans and share a similar ideology.

Modern day Neo-Nazis don't have NSDAP membership numbers dated pre-1945, don't receive orders from Himmler or Hitler but show the same iconography and repeat some of the same slogans and beliefs...

That's just history, not an opinion or anything.

You are claiming that, when Trump and his pals say "Antifa," this is to whom they refer?

You really want to go with that?

And, again: Kristi Noem captured the GF of the founder of Antifa. That's not my opinion, that's her claim. You are saying that Antifa has always meant, and continues to mean, one thing and one thing only. If that is the case, Kristi Nacht has arrested a terribly superannuated person, no?

39. What is the current meaning of the term?
Thu Oct 9, 2025, 11:19 PM

You seem to believe that words have one meaning, fixed forever.

I'm not quite sure that's the way language works.

I'm pretty convinced that the current vernacular treats the term "antifa" as meaning "anti-fascist."

You can be sad as ever you want that this term once meant "commie moofoo bad bad people."

But if it actually doesn't mean that anymore, I think you are clobbering a deceased equine, and doing it to no particularly good effect.

Obviously, as is almost always the case, your mileage varies very much.

One. More. Time.

If the people who are currently using the word, on both sides, do not mean it to mean what you insist it means, it is entirely within the realm of possibility that you, not they, are the party out of step.

Wed Oct 8, 2025, 10:30 PM

He is signing Executive orders (which have legal effect to the extent they direct executive branch agencies or interpret existing law), and writing internal memos - wildly outrageous, but no legal effect other than creating a basis to fire executive branch employees who don't comply.

The flag burning was (1) a speech (followed by a bunch more speeches/texts/etc.) and (2) an executive order. No decree involved.

(1) The speech was nonsense - and bore no relationship to the executive order.
(2) The executive order directed the department of justice to enforce any law, on any matter, which was violated by burning a flag. For example - Federal marijuana laws are not currently being enforced. But if you use an American flag to light one - guess what - now they are going to go after you for consuming marijuana, because you did so by burning a flag to light it. If you burn an American flag in violation of a no-open-burning ordinance - guess what - now they are going to charge you with burning in a no-burn area.

Trump has no idea what he signed. He has been yammering (that speech thing) about imposing a one year prison sentence for flag burning, but the EO said zero about a new law, and zero about a prison sentence. In fact, it expressly excluded prosecution for burning the flag as speech so long as it did not violate other laws.
