A young Lady just made a valid point!

I’m in Utah, stopped for night. I got up messed around with getting myself ready to start my day. I went to the truck stop and was paying for my purchases.

I was the only one in there at the time. The tv was on Fox News. Too my surprise, she spoke up “while Trump lives in his dreams, we’re living in a nightmare”!

I think she was was to stir me up, but I told her l totally agree! She went on to say that she couldn’t stand Trump. “He is screwing over the people and gets away with everything” !

Just one voice in Trump country isn’t enough, but maybe people are finally getting the message????

When someone like this trump punk gets so unpopular and harder to defend:
1. It makes people more free to speak out.
2. Weaker supporters will jump ship

But I would imagine this woman is a solid good person who spoke her mind all along.

That's why it's demoralizing to see the media & big corporations bend the knee & kiss the ring cuz if just one would resist, it would give others the...IDK, approval, courage, or what the fuck ever they need to resist.

I have a variety of yard signs & I rotate them throughout the week & I got really down a few weeks ago & thought, "This doesn't make a difference. Why do I bother?" Then a few days later someone stuck a note in my front door, "Every morning I look forward to see which sign you'll have out. It makes me feel better to know I'm not alone." And a few days after that, I got $20 in the mail with a note, "Love the signs! Keep it up!" So I bought two more.

whether you like it or not.

There's a hierarchy of who gets the biggest passes in America and some of the worst, least deserving people are atop that hierarchy. It just means it takes longer for people to wake up and stop giving out those passes. Every day there's still grim news, but every day there are "signs" that the spell is breaking. No pun intended.

Yes, I think maybe the spell is breaking. Crosses fingers. Eric Swalwell just posted something about repub congress members saying when the Epstein bomb drops no one wants to be seen as a pedo-protector.

I trust Mr. Swalwell across the board. This may be more than wishful thinking, for once.

Unlike me. When my mind wanders, I tell people I am in my own little world. They'd like it there. I have cookies, ponies and glitter.

Apparently last night I added Modela to the list.

It's still a blood-red state, but as far as as TSF is concerned, it's more of a pale pink.

there were several farms that in the runup to the election had multiple big yard signs for red don, including dumbassery such as "Too Big to Rig", "TRUMP 2024", blah blah blah. Every time I drove by I rolled my eyes at the stoopid.

No signs out anymore, which might be just because the election is over but I do wonder how those farmers are feeling now.

“ While Trump won the state handily, Utah had the second-smallest shift to the right in the nation in 2024 after Washington state. Trump improved his margin by just over 1%, compared to the national rightward swing of 6%.[33] Despite Trump's improved margin from 2020, Utah was the only state where Harris won a higher percentage of the vote than Biden in 2020, and it was the highest percentage of the vote won by a Democrat in Utah since Johnson's 1964 victory.”
