The 25th Amendment is repeated implied.

If for some reason they do invoke the 25th the Amendment, Trump will say he is capable of discharging his duties, and Congress will not vote to remove him.

Never gonna happen and I would venture to say that unless the president is in a coma or some other similarly dire disability, virtually no cabinet will vote against their president.

… no one has standing to execute the 25th except the sitting president! The founding fathers wanted it that way!

So is sending armed troops into our cites as a political stunt. So is trying to override the Constitution with Executive Orders. I'm sure the list could be expanded.

I don't think it's out of the question that Republicans could lose both the House and the Senate next year, because we've only started to feel the effects of taking a chainsaw to government services, the Big Fugly Bill, and the idiotic, unconstitutional tariffs. If that happens, impeachment and the 25th Amendment will both be on the table.

and remove him. If a Democratic House impeaches him in 2027, a Democratic Senate would still need 66 votes to remove him. Even then I suspect Trump would just refuse to leave office, triggering yet another constitutional crisis. The only way Trump leaves the White House before 2029 is feet first in a hearse.

Skip to the 5:20 time stamp.

And got excited about the 25th Amend until he explained why it won't work in removing tRump from office permanently. He said the process is very difficult and is temporary. Therefore, he thinks impeachment (a 3rd time) is the better option. With the GOP in control it will NEVER happen.

I'm soooooo depressed!

I read comments on Dem podcasts and as far as the June 14th protests goes the Oct 18th protest is even more well known. I always post a notice about the upcoming protests on Dem podcasts since I do not use social media so I try to spread the word through any means possible.

I've been seeing a lot of comments mentioning NO KINGS, Oct 18th. I keep track of this stuff. I'm a weirdo, I guess.

Things are really heating up rapidly.

This will require the unconventional, unless we still think that a legitimate election might yet be in the cards in 2026.

He's doing a lot of illegal things but no one is really following up on the illegality. I'm not aware of any civil authority that is restricted from enforcing the law against the President, so perhaps being taken into custody by some state goverment, like New York, and held for crimes he's already been convinced of committing might work.

You're right

But Stephen Miller Fox News Inc have experience throwing out enough bullshit that will sway low-info voters to their side. That's all they're really after, and they know it works.

No reason for Democrats not to up their game
