In some way or another Trump hurts us all directly. For over 15 years I have been buying a particularly expensive

medication from a Canadian pharmacy. It is a real brick and mortar store. I buy a brand name product manufactured in Canada at a considerable savings over Costco. The service has always been prompt and there has never been an issue with customs.

Now, because of the tariffs and possible issues with customs they are no longer shipping to the USA. I want to thank the Orange Goon for reaching into my pocket and costing me a significant amount of money every month.

I pay 10 dollars per month. When I first signed up I was good for 2 years, I just renewed my prescription over the phone for 1 year.

Eligibility requirements:

1. You are insured by commercial insurance and your insurance coverage does not cover the full cost of your prescription.
2. You do not have prescription insurance coverage through a state or federal healthcare program, including but not limited to Medicare Part D, Medicaid, Medigap, VA, or DOD programs. Note; I am on Medicare but do not get my prescriptions from Medicare.
3. You are 18 years of age or older and
4. You are a resident of the US, Puerto Rico or other select US territory.

To see if you are eligible call; 1-855-354-7847.

The price should be lower as of January 2026.

Of course the tariffs will probably destroy any savings.

So he was in fact specifically targeting you. Not only does he not care, he’s probably overjoyed he is hurting you.

We use Northwest Pharmacy, they are still shipping to USA. The actual shipments usually come through India or Singapore, prices have not gone up.

At this point in time I am willing to pay extra for brand name or at least made in USA quality control.

Of course the destruction of the FDA may undermine quality control here as well.

Was paying $140/ per month, now am paying $10 per month.

These brand name companies have factories all over the world, how do you know where your prescriptions were made?

Eliquis doesn't have a generic brand.

It’s not allowed on the market yet, because the chuckleheads at Eliquis keep “evergreenIng” their product
The generic has been approved, and is ready to hit the market, when allowed

If you search for "pharmacy discount card," you'll find that there are a bunch of them, almost all of which will save you even more money.

A very large portion of the drugs sold in the US come from other countries, mainly Genarics, likey that some you now take come from India and are repackaged here.

My cat's asthma inhaler isn't able to be shipped. Was $99, paid $149 in May for the initial tax and now they have stopped shipping altogether due to the fluctuations and uncertainty.

Locally, I got a quote for $350 from my grocery pharmacy. Costco is going to try to order and run with a GoodRx coupon to hopefully keep it under $200. They had me open a GRx account in his name and are giving me a 50/50 shot at it working as this is a veterinary prescription. Fingers crossed.

SO beyond pissed at the orange menace over this that I actually had a dream about camping out in a tent in line to piss on his grave.
