I agree...

But I hate to admit, the older I've gotten and the more difficult reading has become for me due to visual issues, I don't read as much. And the internet has done a lot of damage to my ability to focus. So I understand that people find being entertained easier. I suspect those people never really learned to love reading. Even though it's more difficult for me these days, I still love to curl up with a good book. E-readers help with visual issues, but they just don't offer the sensory experience (the smell of a book especially!) that so many readers associate with peaceful times with books.
