ICE agents pull everyone out of an apt building and zip tie them, Black US citizens. Kids. No warrant

ICE Working with police merged ICE raids with search for people with warrants. People held zip tied for hours. Constitution and laws no longer followed for anyone. Guilty until they decide you are innocent.

Regardless of if landlord called ICE, landlord needs to sue for damages.

If Chicago landlords don't band together and support each other, this will get worse.

Massive immigration raid on Chicago apartment building leaves residents reeling: 'I feel defeated' - Chicago Sun-Times

Massive immigration raid on Chicago apartment building leaves residents reeling: 'I feel defeated'

Dan Jones was jolted awake around 1 a.m. Tuesday to the sound of federal agents trying to break through his apartment door. They couldn’t get past his double lock, so he went back to bed.

But when he woke up hours later for work, he walked out and found broken doors littering the hallway — and his neighbors missing.
Jones, 27, is among the residents left at 7500 S. South Shore Drive who are trying to piece together what remains after an early morning, high-powered federal immigration raid led to the arrests of dozens of their neighbors at their South Shore apartment building.

Armed federal agents in military fatigues busted down their doors overnight, pulling men, women and children from their apartments, some of them naked, residents and witnesses said. Agents approached or entered nearly every apartment in the five-story building, and U.S. citizens were among those detained for hours.

When he got home from work, Jones said he entered his unit to find all of his electronics and furniture missing, and all of his clothes and shoes thrown on the floor. Jones said he had no idea who took his belongings and hadn’t received answers from Chicago police.
“I’m pissed off,” Jones said. “I feel defeated because the authorities aren’t doing anything

Watson said she saw agents dragging residents, including kids, out of the building without any clothes on and into U-Haul vans. Kids were separated from their mothers, she said.

“It was heartbreaking to watch,” said Watson. “Even if you’re not a mother, seeing kids coming out buck naked and taken from their mothers, it was horrible.”

There is no need for that kind of action and many other aspects of this, for purposes of law enforcement.

This is terrorism because they are needlessly brutal and assume everyone is guilty.

You know how Republicans are perfectly fine with millions of Americans losing their health care as long as it stops a few immigrants from getting it, or voter ID laws that prevent millions of eligible voters from voting in order to stop a handful of fraudulent ones. Sweeping up, arresting, and possibly deporting many Americans in order to get some immigrants is fine with them. Because in all these cases the Americans hurt are not white billionaires.

For kidnapping, destruction of private property, false arrest, assault with a deadly weapon, theft, child molestation, obstruction of justice and about ten other charges--about fifty years each, with no possibility of parole.

Every identifiable ICE thug who broke into a residence, kidnapped or arrested someone without cause, or did so without identifying themselves, should get the max for every crime they committed--consecutively, not concurrently. "I was only following orders" didn't save members of the Third Reich in 1946, and it shouldn't save their imitators now.

They are only targeting blue states, so the trials should only occur in blue states. In keeping with Republican tradition, the trials should be presided over only by judges appointed by Clinton, Obama or Biden. The ICE recruits got $50,000 to join up, so they can afford their legal representation. Country club prisons should be declared to be "full up," so no favors when they get sent up.

Rule of law? Warrants? That apartment building probably never saw so much violence until ICE showed up.

Property damage, theft, enabled by ICE.

This is Federal Government terrorism.

This case needs to be prosecuted under state law and civil law in every possible way, in every detail. There needs to be discovery to get the thugs' names. The residents need help and the rule of law needs help. This needs full reporting. Let's see tabulations of how many residents, how many were taken, how many units were damaged, total damages.

everyone of those that you named have families. EVERY member of their family needs to be shunned and harassed and videos in public constantly (church, school, restaurants, any place they go). if they sit in your pew at church, ostentatiously move t5o another pew, if they come into a restaurant, get up and leave, and loudly announce why. They are doing it to our families. do it to theirs. Fuck them, and fuck their feelings.

50. Democratic Governors Can Arrest ICE Agents. What Are They Waiting For?
Fri Oct 3, 2025, 12:54 AM
Friday
https://open.substack.com/pub/cmarmitage/p/democratic-governors-have-the-legal

Damn it! What are Democratic Governors waiting for? If arrests don't come from this and quickly, they're milquetoast, spineless. But maybe they need to be reminded of the power the Constitution gives them.

Republicans prosecute doctors for providing healthcare. They usually lose in court. But doctors stop providing care anyway. That’s the point.

Democrats could use the same strategy against ICE agents who break into homes without real warrants, if they can muster the courage. The legal authority exists and the infrastructure is ready. Now it is our duty to demand it from the people who hold that power.

Here’s what you need to know: Federal agents are committing state felonies every day. Breaking and entering. Kidnapping. Assault. When they kick down doors without judicial warrants, when they detain citizens without probable cause, when they point guns at children, these are crimes under state law. And Democratic governors have the power to prosecute those crimes.

Here’s what you can do today:

Call your governor or attorney general and say exactly this: “Federal agents are committing state felonies including burglary, kidnapping, and assault. File criminal charges now. If local law enforcement refuses to do their jobs then they can be fired or arrested. We elected you to protect us. Do it. If you don’t take this seriously then expect us to begin contacting all of your donors to ask if they are aware of your compliance.”
