should be that trump and johnson are lying about Dems wanting to shut down the government to give healthcare to those they insist on calling illegal aliens The corporate media will not fact check this sufficiently. Anyone who thinks they will have been asleep for the past ten years. And Rs and independent voters need to hear this repeatedly.'
An example of how deranged and dishonest these claims by Rs are appeared today in Tim Burchett's X acct: "How can the Democrats afford to give Healthcare to Criminal Aliens and take $50 billion from Rural healthcare?"
It is not legal to give government funded health insurance to undocumented people. Dems are not asking for that. And, Dems are not the ones cutting rural healthcare This really needs to spelled out hundreds, if not thousands of times, until it sinks in.

(24,015 posts)in the bolded part. Just to be clear, I am not against providing emergency services to undocumented people at all, but that's not what the Rs are claiming. They are claiming that the entire reason the Dems are holding fast is because they want full coverage for "illegal aliens" and are not holding out for the majority of people whose healthcare will be impacted by this administration.
