Melania 'Very Involved' In Epstein Scandal: Wolff | The Daily Beast Podcast

Michael Wolff joins Joanna Coles to reveal the rising panic inside Trump’s inner circle as the Epstein scandal metastasizes.

With Ghislaine Maxwell serving 20 years in prison, Wolff outlines how a meeting between her and Trump’s former lawyer—now the No. 2 at the DOJ—Todd Blanche, is raising serious questions about a possible deal. Wolff details Trump’s decade-long friendship with Epstein, the infamous 50th birthday letter, and how they shared a girlfriend who moved between the two men.

He describes a White House gripped by fear as “Epstein intelligence” emerges—emails, photos, and files that could expose just how “bad” Trump’s “bad boy years” really were. MAGA world, Wolff warns, may not survive what Maxwell has to say.

1. I have no hope left that he will ever be held accountable for anything

I’m in a very dark place right now. He’s never held to account for anything and I just don’t see this being any different. It’s so depressing that I just want to pull the covers over my head. The hardest thing about the Trump years has been a realization that the good guys don’t win anymore. I was raised on some ridiculous notion that the guys in the white hats always win. The Trump era has put all of that to a lie. He’s the very worst of us and yet he has been elevated to the highest office in the land. He has shown Americans to be ignorant and vulgar — because our leaders represent our national character. There have been many times in my life that I have been ashamed to be an American, but never more so now.

3. I felt that way in the Reagan years when they were killing people back then

...withholding assistance, blocking research.

Then the Gingrich 'revolution' felt like death of th nation.

I get the threat was not nearly as existential then as the real and present crisis, but recovering is going to be by waging the same political slog that we had to fight back then to survive it all.

Let's see what we can achieve a year from now, in the midterms. Scandals are softening his support, awakening folks to his con jobs as their lives and livelihoods are being impacted by his grifting dismantling of the 20th century advances this nation managed to progress on.

It's tragically unfortunate, but there's still an active and growing opposition to this president and his republican enablers.

Let's see what we can do about all of that, and maybe just take things a little bit at a time, not expect to be able right now to fix everything at once.

Their goal, insidiously, seems to be to throw Americans off of own enterprises and efforts to maintain ourselves and prosper. That should be our main pursuit right now; to make certain this loser doesn't throw us off of our own game, play us out of position.

Try to keep your own affairs in good order, and let's see what happens with this political nonsense.

She came to the country on a "Epstein Visa" not a "Einstein Visa" Trump making fun of others when he should take a look at himself.
