Epstein was part of a blackmail, child rape, sex trafficking of minors from around the world ring
including Russia, money laundering, corruption of our government and elections, and on and on
including the U.S. A.G. Blondi and the top 2 people @ the FBI working not for justice but to
criminally hide Trumps involvement in all of this. Isnt the person who 1st prosecuted Epstein
and gave him a sweetheart deal now working for the Trump Administration?
Trump, I will drain the swamp.
How can dozens of FBI agents spend the month of March 2025 going over files about
Epstein to look for mentions of Trumps name if it was a hoax and Epsteins client list
didnt exist?

(6,086 posts)No, but he worked in the 1st Trump administration. Alex Acosta was the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida in 2007 & 2008 and approved a secret plea deal with Epstein which was later determined to be illegal. The agreement granted immunity from all federal criminal charges to Epstein, along with four named co-conspirators and any unnamed "potential co-conspirators". That agreement "essentially shut down an ongoing FBI probe into whether there were more victims and other powerful people who took part in Epstein's sex crimes". At the time, this halted the investigation and sealed the indictment.
In 2017, Acosta was nominated to be Secretary of the Department of Labor and then confirmed by the Senate. When he was vetted for his cabinet post in the Trump administration, Acosta stated I was told Epstein belonged to intelligence and to leave it alone. According to an internal review conducted by the Department of Justice's Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR), which was released in November 2020, Acosta showed "poor judgment" in granting Epstein a non-prosecution agreement and failing to notify Epstein's alleged victims about this agreement. In the report, Acosta denied that Epstein was an intelligence asset. The OPR report also stated that it found no evidence that Epstein was a cooperating witness or an intelligence asset.
Acosta resigned as Secretary of Labor on July 19, 2019, approximately 2 weeks after Epstein was arrested.

(49,479 posts)it was never about removing corruption. It was about encouraging more corruption, bribery, criminal coverups, destroying evidence, etc.
Are you losers still talking about Epstein? yes, until the criminals who abused children are exposed and prosecuted.

(41,090 posts)a whistleblower with receipts and a new AG to supervise their prosecution. The statute of limitations for the whistleblower is five years. Maybe not the whole truth of this, but still, the truth will come out, even if not in federal courts.
From Google's DeepMind AI...
Actions taken to cover up a crime often constitute separate federal offenses, each with its own statute of limitations, including:
Obstruction of justice: This can involve various actions like witness intimidation, destroying evidence, or interfering with an investigation. The statute of limitations for these types of crimes would depend on the specific federal law violated and could be the general five-year limit or longer depending on the severity of the offense.
False statements (18 U.S.C. § 1001): Lying to federal authorities during an investigation is a federal crime with a five-year statute of limitations from the time the false statement was made or submitted.
Misprision of felony (18 U.S.C. § 4): This involves concealing knowledge of the actual commission of a felony and not reporting it to authorities. The statute of limitations for misprision of a felony is not explicitly stated in the provided search results but would likely follow the general five-year rule for federal felonies, according to Liles Parker.
Important considerations
Continuing offenses and conspiracies: For crimes like conspiracies to defraud the United States, the statute of limitations may not begin to run until the last overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy has been committed.
Concealment of the crime: In some cases, if the crime itself was concealed, the statute of limitations might be extended or run from the date the crime was discovered rather than the date it was committed.
Affirmative defense: The statute of limitations is an affirmative defense that must be raised by the defense before or during the trial, otherwise, it may be waived.
In summary, while there isn't one universal statute of limitations for "criminal coverup," the timeframe for prosecution depends on the specific federal crimes involved in the cover-up efforts, as well as the underlying crime being concealed. The general federal statute of limitations is five years for most felonies, but many exceptions and longer periods exist depending on the nature and severity of the offenses involved.

are nothing at all compared to crimes of the rich. Secret crimes of the rich are at a global scale compare to crimes of the poor.
The wealthy (by no means elite in knowledge or character) always, always distract, fearmonger and direct public attention to see only un/documented immigrants as criminals. Wealthy evildoers spend their days lying through inter(media)ries, pr departments, & spokespersons, while causing intergenerational human suffering and damage. They idolize money. The sicknesses of indolent wealth do more human harm than do all the desperate acts of the poor put together -- and cost societies trillions more than does caring for the poor.
Moreover, what Jesus said 2,000 years ago -- that it's pretty impossible for the rich to see God after death -- is more true than ever. Eternity is infinite (along with their immortal souls) compared to their finite lives. They're taking their chances that neither souls nor God exist, and that "all that is matter is what matters."
Whether one is a believer or not doesn't change the past millennias' truths about poverty and wealth.
These next four years I will miss Joe Biden the most.
