Ladies and Gentlemen...
... it is way, WAY past time to publicly acknowledge the bear dry-humping the elephant in the room. The proof is overwhelming that Trump is in thrall to Vladimir Putin, and has been since the eighties. Oh, he's been fussing and fulminating like the emotional toddler he has always been, but the destruction of America's most cherished institutions, and dissolution of the respect and esteem this country deservedly had on the world stage, has had nothing whatever to do with the eradication of fraud and inefficiency in government, and everything to do with helping Putin fulfill his fevered dream of destroying America for within without firing a shot. It has been his stated desire since he was a rookie in the KGB.
We're fast approaching the point of no return, and if Trump isn't stopped, it's game over. Malicious enablers of the Dark Side, from the Supreme Court and the billionaires who have compromised them, on down to the MAGA simpletons that defile the flag they so fervently claim to love by wearing it like a beer-stained badge of honor, have got to be stopped. It is up to the cowards in Congress, whose sworn duty it is to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States, to take the steps necessary to protect this country from the monsters currently tearing it to shreds. No more sniveling excuses from anyone; this is an existential crisis the like of which we have not seen since the Civil War. I sincerely hope a second conflict of that horrific magnitude is not forthcoming, but it will be inevitable if the treasonous transgressions of the MAGA/GOP are not stopped in their tracks.
Legal niceties mean nothing to these people; they ignore, and try to hamstring, those courts that aren't yet as corrupt as Trump and his minions. So the hand-wringing and pearl clutching stops now. Or were all dead.
