The Medicaid cuts do not happen until after the next election?

How much sense does it make for Democrats run on the issue that Republicans are cutting their Medicaid if nothing is going to happen until after the next election?

I don't think a lot of people on Medicaid are aware of that fact.

will need to educate the voters while running for the next election that republicans chose to enact Medicaid cuts after the next election and that they will undo what they did. If voters aren’t paying attention though they won’t get that message.

6. We definitely need to get messaging right. Though it's not unheard of to push programs out

years in future in today’s ten year budget cycle. We have to get ahead of it.

We also need to be pushing for a Paygo waiver by end of 2025 or Medicare will get an automatic cut of 4%. trump got a Paygo waiver in 2017 after his original tax “cut.”

7. Democrats need to begin to explain this now by taking the exact text of the law to new Town Hall meetings.

Every Dem who gets to speak on the air waves in any format including radio needs to set the record straight and get this message out. It goes much further against peoples' psyche to know how deviously cuts to Medicaid and other benefits are going to be enacted against them so as to blame Democrats when enforcement takes place. Every PBS, NPR, MSNBC programming Exec ought put together at least two or three specials about the deviousness of the Trump regime. And the tax cut to billionaires ought to be linked to the delayed enforcement ploy. For example, the enactment of the cuts are necessary because of the budget deficit that should be linked to the tax cuts.
