"Ten children among the dead in attack that NGO says was blatant violation of international humanitarian law
The strike on Thursday morning hit families waiting for nutritional supplements and medical treatment in front of a medical point in Deir al-Balah, medical sources said. Project Hope, which runs the facility, said operations at the clinic had been suspended until further notice."

(3,242 posts)It spoke of consequences even. But it's fading into the mists of memory, just like the "Red Line" of Rafah.
Every Western leader is afraid of Trump's vengeance and also of being called anti-semitic. Also there is money being made on the genocide and soon, the resources of Gaza. Let's not forget the words uttered in the last election, that "Israel must expand". The West has enabled Israel's "expansion" for decades, by allowing impunity while dangling the mirage of the two-state solution.
We are stuck in dystopia.

On 17 and 18 September 2024, thousands of handheld pagers and hundreds of walkie-talkies intended for use by Hezbollah exploded simultaneously in two separate events across Lebanon and Syria, in an Israeli attack nicknamed Operation Grim Beeper.
According to the Lebanese government, the attack killed 42 people, including 12 civilians, and injured 4,000 civilians.Victims had injuries including losing fingers, hands, and eyes, as well as brain shrapnel.
The first wave of explosions on 17 September targeted pagers, killing at least 12 people, including two Hezbollah members and two children, and wounding more than 2,750, including Iran's ambassador to Lebanon.
The second wave on 18 September targeted Icom walkie-talkies, killing at least 30 people and injuring over 750. The 150 hospitals across Lebanon that received victims of the explosions experienced chaotic scenes.

(60,556 posts)as some Palestinians haven't been killed or starved to death yet.
For shame. The world is watching, Israel. Why haven't you kicked him to the curb? He will continue and expand the war because he knows corruption charges await him at home so he attacks Iran...while playing trump like a fiddle to join him...see the next level ass kissing he did by givng trump the letter he sent of his nomination of him for the Nobel Prize.

(3,242 posts)With a name like that, and with its work to aid malnourished children, of course it was targeted. Just like that cafe was targeted a few days ago. Palestinians are not allowed to have hope, safety, nutrition, medical care or any semblance of a normal life. Creating conditions that cannot sustain human life is an act of genocide.
Don't be fooled by the ubiquitous "Hamas terrorist" mantra. Israel targeted the clinic, the cafe, and it looks like soon it will target the overwhelmed Nasser hospital. Again. It targets everyrhing that makes life just a bit more bearable or even possible.
The staff member sent a video of a piece of twisted shrapnel that flew into the window of the intensive care unit from a nearby strike, which they said was still hot to the touch.
EU, Canada etc: Sanctions, arms embargo, cut diplomatic ties. No more arms, funding or help to the genocidal regime.

And the orange nut who want's a Nobel just because Obama got one is pathetic, to say the least.
